Boy oh boy!
So it's official, we will soon have a little man joining the clan and we couldn't be happier! As rough and tough as Emma is, she will be more than suitable as a "big brother" role model and yet her desire for girly clothes and things may lead this little man into embarrassing "drag" photos for later years. Either way it'll be a fun adventure! Feel free to give us ideas for boy names:)
"hi mom!"
"I'm trapped in a nutshell, how did i get in a nutshell?"
"hi-yah!"
We're starting early at embarrassing this one:)

Playing Catch Up:)
Ok so i know its been awhile. In part the delay has been a computer memory overload preventing me from uploading pics. Morning sickness and just plain sickness (hey i know i shouldn't complain this pregnancy is LOADS better than the last). And yeah we've been busy too. So here's the catch up and i'll try and load some videos later on in the week.
We had just gotten pics taken with santa and Emma decided to hit up the jewelry store.
Ok so it was like the first REAL big snow and i didn't have ANY real snow gear for emmers so here's me improvising. I know, ghetto fabulous right? (first layer)
Second Layer (those are my socks over her shoes (which are also covered in plastic bags)...poor peoples version of boots:)
Grandma and Grandpa come to the rescue and get a snow suit...boots followed a couple days later :)
Santa (aka uncle gordan)
Aunt Katie brought back a belly dancer hat from egypt for emma for christmas...she's still trying to figure it out
So i was bored and went a little crazy with the hair...
Playing with her favorite uncle...seriously she's always been obsessed with nick
Emma's first bubble bath...don't think she knew what to make of it, but daddy sure had fun:)
I had been cleaning and emma was playing with the duster when daddy decided it would be fun for emma to joust on her horse with it. As soon as the camera came out she decided she was done, wish i got better pics:(
Sam thanks for the dress, emma really does love it!
So i was doing laundry one day and daddy thought he'd have some fun with emma...
needless to say she LOVES being in the bag. Strange child i wonder where she gets it from?
Teaching emma the true way to eat olives
Every now and then i find her playing in daddy's shoes
Emma decided her swimming diapers were really hats. Here she's posing with her cute girl face, she came up with it all on her own. She can be quite the charmer. Just last week she got the old man behind us at church to give her (AND let her keep) his watch. I tried to give it back but he wouldn't hear of it, it was hers now...sigh...watch out little boys of the world...
This is Emma and her best friend Josh on Valentine's Day. He brought a valentine (the red card on the floor at their feet) and cookies to celebrate. It's fun cause usually when they first see each other they hug and kiss.
Bath time with daddy:)
Caught in the act! She's taking after her dad and digging for treasure! hahahaha...cough....ha...
The past few days have warmed up so i've been trying to get out with emma. In the back you can see the remnents of the snow man we'd built a few days earlier...now emma takes to cannibalizing him.
I often find emma hiding behind the rocker and changing table quietly reading a book. She loves to read:)
Ok so this is more for my mom. Here's 3 mos preggers
and 5 mos. We find out wed what we're having:) Post to come
As for Brad he is hard at work trying to finish his thesis in time for defending it on march 5th. And for those of you who don't know, we'll be heading to Washington State University in aug for Brad to get his PhD. It's kind of weird. We'll be heading to the same school my Dad got his PhD at and likely living in the same housing. Plus we moved there 6 weeks after i was born (July 1st) and our baby is due July 16th. What are the odds of that happening? We're looking forward to the adventure of it all!
