Shout-outs!

Just wanted to do a post thanking people for being so kind and, really, being answers to our prayers. Babies definitely aren't cheap, and with Brad going to school full time and me being at home full time ;) money's a bit tight. So I just want to thank everyone for their love and support and thought I'd post some pics of the clothes you've gotten Emma.

Thanks Aimee, everyone at church loved her in this dress!

Ash, you're amazing... and parker too ;) Thanks for sharing your talents with us!

Rhea what more can I say than I love you.
There are many other outfits, etc. that either Emma's already outgrown or that we don't have pics of yet. So all you others who have donated to the Emma Fund, know that your contributions have been put to good use. Thanks again!

So we just took this today 'cause this is the first time Emma's seriously attempted crawling. I have no doubt by the time we get back from PA she'll be a pro.

Been awhile...

So Brad noticed that it's been a while since i posted anything since my april fools joke. Sorry, things have been a little crazy. I have a post i want to do, but i need to get some pics for it so hopefully i'll do that soon. For those who are interested, Emma's definitely now reached the separation anxiety phase of babyhood. She is officially my leech...no really. Like she's been fussy the past couple of weeks when ever i walk away or am not laying/sitting right next to her on the floor, but now it's even worse. Before she was pretty chill about taking naps and going to bed. I read her a couple books, sing a song, put her in her crib and she puts herself to sleep. No problem. Well this week she FREAKS out every time it's nap time and i really can't put her down for too long. As much as i love the kid...it can be a bit overwhelming at times. Yes yes i know that i was (and still am) a leech...but really, was i this bad? Sigh, i suppose i should count my blessings, before i know it she may be a teenager that won't even let me hug her. As for Brad, he's plugging away to get his proposal finished HOPEFULLY by the end of the semester. His intermurals soccer team is doing great and they keep winning (he has a game tonight, wish him luck). Me...i'm learning a lot right now. And i just finished reading "The Hobbit" (the only novel we really had aside from "Bourne Identity" which didn't really interest me) and will begin reading "Goose Girl" by Shannon Hale and "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. Both were highly recommended by Katie who is kindly loaning them to me (thanks Kate's!). Anywho, hopefully i'll post again soon if leech baby lets me;)

So we were at the mall (getting Rheanna's wedding dress..YAY) and decided to window shop. Well we went into Children's Place (i think that's what it's called) and they had these awesome sunglasses. I had to put them on her, she didn't like them to much so i had to hold her hands while Rheanna took this picture with her phone. How about that major double chin action going on!

Calling my bluff

yeah aimee called my bluff. Syd actually called my mom. No i'm not pregnant, it was just april fools and i thought it would be funny. But i honestly didn't think anyone would buy it. It was funny too cause i dyed the milk purple and Brad thought some bacteria had infested our milk. That made me laugh too. Oh you gotta love it!

Accidents Do Happen...

i'm living proof, right mom? So far i'm feeling fine, but i'm bracing myself for the worst... We're excited, suprised, but excited. We'll keep you posted! ;)
